The students met their host families and the tech school's director read a statement in English to welcome us to Darmstadt and their college, which is Campus Peter-Behrens-Schule. Today, we visit Friedrich List Schule (http://www.fls-da.de/). These colleges provide technical training in culinary, office practices, printing, carpentry trades, etc. Different than our system, their students work with the company two days a week and attend their classes three days a week. Most programs are two or three years.
